Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
